Introducing Tina Nunezz

The power that exudes from this diva in the making is unparalleled to any other young Jamaican female artiste. Christina Campbell a.k.a. Tina Nunezz, has her own sound and lives by the motto Living in Music.” At first glance, Tina may appear to be a “girlie” girl though her favourite colour isn’t pink and she has a bit of ferocity about her. She’s a rebel who likes her boys’ bad, but balanced and street smart. Her hopes include having her own family some day.

Growing up in St. Andrew, Jamaica, Tina was exposed to music from an early age. Her influences include artistes such as Diana Ross, Sade` and Stevie Wonder. She owes a bit of gratitude to Rohan “Jah Snowcone” Fuller for being one of her strongest supports, adding that

her parents are just coming around to accepting the idea of her getting into the music industry. Tina has written all the songs she has recorded so far. She’s a hard worker that lives for the release of another set of the hot lyrics she has penned. She yearns for the world to see her God given talent. Tina has been recording music since 2005 and has already worked with persons such as: Philip “Fattis” Burrell, Lowell “Sly” Dunbar, Orville “Rorey” Baker and most recently Tarik “Zawdie” Kiddoe. She also has collaborations with two of dancehall’s greats, “Bad Boy” featuring, Buju Banton and “Thug Love” with Mad Cobra. A few singles to look out for are: “Take It Off” and “Like I Do” that is currently being mixed by Colin “Bulby” York and produced by Zawdie.

Judging from the quality of her music, Tina will eventually accomplish one of her long-term goals – to make music that has depth and will last the test of time. She hopes in several years to have her own production company, enabling the same opportunities she acquired to other aspiring artistes. The world had better watch out for this one, Tina Nunezz…Learning the Music, Loving the music, living in music.
